Try this healthy chai milkshake. Thick and creamy with just 3 ingredients it’s sure to become one of your favorite summer drinks!

It’s gotten to the point in the year that I personally like to pretend it’s summer already. I achieve this by making myself this milkshake. If it’s not for you during the cold season, I’m sure it will be amazing for you in the summer. You should definitely give it a try!

This cold drink basically is a chai latte turned into a healthy milkshake. The addition of a frozen banana makes it thick, creamy, and super healthy. Because of the natural sweetness of the banana, you won’t need any added sugar. The riper the banana, the sweeter your drink will be.

Healthy Chai Milkshake Ingredients

This healthy chai milkshake is made with just 3 ingredients: milk of choice, chai tea bag, and frozen banana.

Besides the fact that this drink is beyond delicious, it’s also super easy to make. All you need to have on hand is a frozen banana and the milk brewed with the chai tea bag must have been chilled beforehand. Then all that’s left to do is combine those two, blend using a hand blender or blender until smooth, top with whipped cream if desired, and enjoy. I recommend using a hand blender here as it’s very easy to clean and works well for the small amount.

Enjoy this nutritious drink for breakfast or as a healthy snack at any time of the day.

Since this recipe works with any type of milk, this milkshake can also be vegan as long as you use a plant-based (dairy-free) milk.

To make a vanilla chai milkshake, simply add 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.
