Make these quick and easy fruit and vegetable rockets as a fun and healthy snack for New Year’s Eve or any other fireworks celebration!
These fruit and vegetable skewers in the style of rockets will look great on your New Year’s Eve buffet. They are the perfect refreshing party snack and kid-friendly. Not to mention that they are prepared in a flash.
For my rockets I used grapes, clementines, kiwis, physalis, apples, cucumbers, tomatoes, and cheese. But feel free to adjust them depending on the season by using seasonal fruit and vegetables. You can also combine fruit and vegetables in the individual skewers. For half of the rocket tips I used apple slices, for the other half I used cheese. You can use your favorite cheese and of course vegan cheese if desired. Instead of the apple triangles, melon cut into small triangles make great rocket tips, and strawberries work just as well when in season. I’m excited to hear what ideas you come up with, so be sure to share them in the comments below!
Keep in mind that you could use reusable skewers instead of wooden skewers.
