The chocolate version of my healthy homemade frappuccino. Tastes like ice cold chocolate pudding! Extra delicious combined with whipped cream!
Frappuccino is a blended frozen coffee drink.
In its original version, Frappuccino is made using ice cubes. This recipe does not use ice cubes, as they would water down the flavor.
If you want to make a twist on your frappuccino, turning the frozen coffee drink chocolatey is a great choice.
Simply add some unsweetened cocoa powder to my basic recipe for Healthy Homemade Frappuccino. You may need to add a little more sweetener to balance out the bitter taste of the cocoa powder, which I’ve taken into account in the recipe. Below you will find the recipe for the chocolate version.
The homemade mocha frappuccino delivers the same benefits as my homemade frappuccino. It’s much cheaper than store-bought. Depending on the type of milk used, it can be vegan. You can choose whether to use caffeine or not. You can decide on the type and amount of sweetener. You can add toppings or skip them, and they can be vegan, too. Preparing is just as much fun and the result tastes just as delicious.
The homemade mocha frappuccino is made with just 6 ingredients: milk of choice, unsweetened cocoa powder, pure vanilla extract, instant coffee, sweetener of choice, and a pinch of salt. It’s just as easy and quick to make as my basic Healthy Homemade Frappuccino.
To make this recipe, you’ll need a hand blender or blender. I recommend a hand blender for the amount given in the recipe, as it is easier to clean. From double the amount, a blender will work better.
