This homemade frozen yogurt tastes just like the one from your favorite frozen yogurt shop! It’s smooth & creamy and ready to eat in under 25 minutes!
Ingredients
2cups (450 g)plain yogurt,low-fat or full-fat (see Notes!)
2cups (454 g)plain Greek yogurt,low-fat or full-fat (see Notes!)
1/3cup (67 g)granulated sugar
1tablespoon (21 g)honey,agave, or maple syrup
Instructions
Whisk together the yogurts, sugar, and honey in a medium bowl until the sugar is completely dissolved.
With the ice cream maker on, pour in the mixture. Process according to the manufacturer’s instructions for 15-20 minutes or until thick and smooth. For the best taste and texture, enjoy straight away. (Or transfer to a container and freeze for a bit to firm up even more.) Serve plain or with toppings of your choice.
Notes
Storage Instructions: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month. Allow some time to thaw before serving, as homemade frozen yogurt freezes solid and can take a while to thaw, up to around 20 minutes. Yogurt: Low-fat alternatives work, but do not substitute nonfat yogurt. You can substitute plain yogurt for the Greek yogurt, and vice versa. The higher the fat content, the creamier your frozen yogurt will be, and the shorter the processing time will be.
