How to make your own iced coffee at home. Save this best iced coffee recipe for any warm summer caffeine break that might come up!
Ingredients
6-8coffee ice cubes (see notes below)
2/3cup (160 ml)whole milk,or milk of choice
Instructions
Brew coffee, sweeten it to your liking, allow to cool for a bit, pour into an ice cube tray, and freeze (as written in the notes below).
To make your iced coffee, place the coffee ice cubes in a glass (more for a stronger coffee flavor), then pour the milk over. The coffee ice cubes will melt into the milk (how quick will depend on the temperature at your place). Enjoy!
Notes
You can brew as much coffee as you want or use leftover brewed coffee to freeze in your ice cube trays for future use. For 1 serving you will need no more than 120 ml of brewed coffee. I recommend making a strong coffee for this. The ice cube tray I use yields pretty small ice cubes, with a capacity of 15 ml per ice cube. You can stir any sweetener of choice into your brewed coffee and sweeten to your liking. Or omit it at all and use a syrup, like caramel, vanilla, or chocolate syrup to sweeten and flavor your iced coffee drink. I recommend about 2 teaspoons of syrup per serving, which should be added at the end.
